Competitor Price Tracker is a desktop application that runs entirely on your computer. This page explains what data the application handles and what leaves your machine.
Data stored on your device
Product URLs, price checks, price history, and your application settings are stored in a local database file on your own computer. This data is not transmitted to us and we have no access to it.
Removing the application and its local data directory removes this information permanently.
Network requests
To check a price, the application requests the product page you added, in the same way a browser would. These requests go directly from your computer to the store you are tracking.
The application may also contact our update endpoint to check whether a newer version is available. This request includes the current application version and operating system version only.
Website analytics
This marketing website is a static site. If analytics are enabled in the future, this page will be updated to describe what is collected and how to opt out.
